TROPICAL FRUIT SEED SALE
UPDATE 06/20/2024:
Hurricane Maria (Sept. 20th, 2017) turned out to be the worst natural disaster in Puerto Rico's recorded history. Vast parts of the rare fruit collection were severely damaged or completely destroyed. We worked tirelessly for the past 4 years to restore as much as possible, but it will take at least until November 2021 to finish with the basic clean up the farm, and much longer to re-plant it.
The farm was hit again hard by Hurricane Fiona (Sept. 2022), right after the farm was cleaned up from most of Hurricane Maria's damage. It will take again about 3 years to clean up the farm.
I will therefore not be able to process any seed orders until at least June 2025.

Govardhan Gardens offers over 200 common and rare exotic tropical fruit and nut seeds (listed below). This is the widest selection of fresh tropical fruit seeds in the Caribbean!
All seeds are from eco-organically grown trees; they are harvested from ripe fruits and they are shipped within 48 hours after being cleaned and surface-sterilized. The shipping cost depends on the size and the weight of the seeds. Please read the following information carefully before ordering any seeds:
The seeds can be shipped with regular air mail priority mail, global priority mail (unfortunately, the postage was raised in January 2016 to $35) or express mail (2 types of global express mail: 7-10 day delivery and 3-4 day delivery). Please verify the availability of the seeds you are interested in before you send your order. Some species are high in demand and often pre-ordered.

Sadhu Govardhan is an independent thinker, eco-organic farmer, tropical rare fruit connoisseur and researcher. Extensive journeys for over twenty years have allowed him to study indigenous cultures and different life styles throughout the world.
His first publications on philosophical and spiritual topics were published in Europe and translated into several languages. He now lives in Puerto Rico and has dedicated himself to researching and growing tropical food crops and promoting alternative farming methods. He is currently involved with consultant work and inspiring and developing educational sustainable role model projects in the Caribbean.
